The White Buck Inn is situated right in the centre of the New Forest and is one of the best positions for strolling in Hampshire. It is also less than 2 miles from the historical village of Burley where you can visit the witch shops, hire a bicycle or book a horse ride to see the beautiful New Forest national park countryside.
For golfers, there is also a 9-hole golf course right next door to the inn. It is also close to the town of Ringwood which hosts many pubs and restaurants, plus a weekly market. If you fancy a day out shopping, then Southampton and Bournemouth are only 30 minutes journey time away.
Travel information
If approaching from the north or east via the m27, continue onto the a31. Turn left at Burley Service Station and follow signs to Burley. If coming from the West (Bournemouth) again continue onto the a31 and follow signs to Burley. Continue on this road through Burley Street and on to Burley, bearing left at the War Memorial and then take the right fork up the hill past the Queens Head Pub. After a few hundred yards, past a cricket pitch (on your left), The White Buck Inn is signposted on your left. Take this turning and follow the road round to the left until you reach the Inn.
