The Falcon Manor is an perfect location from which to travel around the enchanting scenery of the surrounding Craven Hills, Herriot Country, the Lake District and the Lancashire Coast. It is an excellent centre for walkers, motorists and railway enthusiasts, with the Settle-Carlisle Railway nearby. Settle itself is a fine example of a typical, bustling Dales market town that has lost none of its charm. The market place is a short walk from the hotel accommodation.
Travel information
By Car
- From Long Preston (the south side of Settle), take the A65 to Settle until reaching the roundabout.
- Take the second turn-off on the roundabout, and the hotel accommodation is situated about a mile away on Skipton Road, on the right-hand side, just set back from the road.
- From Ingleton (the north side of Settle) take the A65 until you see signs for Settle.
- Take a left-hand turn, up a hill and down into a valley.
- Continue through Giggleswick and Settle town to the other side of Settle.
- The hotel accommodation is situated on the way out of Settle on the left-hand side, just set back from the road.
