Area information
St Ives is situated on the Great Ouse river and close to the well-known university City of Cambridge. The tiny Chapel,built on the 15th century stone over the river, is one of only four in the country and probably the best example.
Oliver Cromwell,born in nearby Huntingdon went to school here, as did Samuel Papys.Cromwell is commemorated today by an impressive bronze Statue in the market square and by the Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon.

From A14:
