This 17th century coaching inn has retained many of its original features, including a hand carved staircase and hand painted sundial.
The bar boasts 2 brilliant fireplaces which are reputedly the largest in East Anglia. We stock cask conditioned ales and a wide selection of fine wines. Food is served in both the bar and restaurant. All bedrooms are ensuite, many with feature fireplaces and luxurious four-poster beds.

- Follow the A140 south and at the roundabout in Scole, take the 3rd exit onto Diss Road.
- Turn left and you will find the hotel accommodation on the left.
From London:
- Follow the M11 north for Cambridge.
- Exit onto the A11 and continue onto the A143 for Scole.
- Continue through the 1st roundabout and exit onto the A140 (Scole) at 2nd roundabout.
- Cross bridge and at next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Diss Road and continue as above.
