Nene Valley Railway (13 km / 8 miles) - this preserved steam railway offers nostalgic rail travel across picturesque countryside.

Barnsdale Gardens (16 km / 10 miles) - well-known for its associations with the late Geoff Hamilton and his BBC Gardeners'' World programme, these 37 individual gardens form one large 8 acre site.
