You will emerge at Brighton Pier. - Take a left at the roundabout there, following the seafront road (A259) with the sea on your right, past the bars, until the 1st major set of traffic lights. - Turn left there into Lower Rock Gardens and over the next lights into Upper Rock gardens. Colson House is on the left.
By Train: Brighton Station is served from London Victoria by fast trains, and also from Kings Cross Thameslink and Blackfriars. Once at the station, taxis are readily available. Alternatively, a walk would take you approximately 20 minutes.
By Air. Gatwick Airport is the closest airport, only 30 minutes away by train. There is also a coach service.
From Heathrow Airport, it is advised that you take the tube to Victoria and then a fast train to Brighton from there.
From Stansted Airport, take the Stansted Express and change at Tottenham Hale to the Victoria Line. Take that tube to Victoria and then get the fast train to Brighton.
Coaches do serve both Heathrow and Stansted, but the journey is a long one.
