Pull on your boots and head off up the lane and within minutes you''re in the Peak National Park. The strolling is endless, the scenery breathtaking.
A short drive will take you to the Chatsworth estate, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, where you can visit the house, gardens and farm shop; a fabulous family day out. You could also visit the market town of Bakewell and try their well-known puddings.
Visit the Caverns in Castleton and treat yourself to some ''Blue John'' stone, mined only in this village. If you need some retail therapy, we have the Meadowhall shopping complex. For something more energetic, try the dry ski slope at the Sheffield Ski Village. From Sheffield: - Head west on the A621/High Street for Flat Street. - Continue along the A621 and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A625 (Furnival Gate). - Continue through 3 roundabouts then turn right onto Ringinglow Road. - Turn left to stay on Ringinglow Road and you will find the hotel accommodation.
