Set in marvellous woodland, Fairburn Activity Centre overlooks the beautiful and tranquil Strathconon Glen, only 30 minutes' drive from Inverness.
Positioned within the grounds of Fairburn House, Fairburn Activity Centre has 12 twin bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms, all of which are en-suite with shower/spa bath. Every room has a TV and tea/coffee facilities.
The centre provides good food, including home baking and is positioned 150 metres beyond the splendid stone building of Fairburn House, which is now a care home. Follow the signs for Fairburn Activity Centre.

Fairburn Lodge (and Activity Centre) is situated just 30 minutes from the city of Inverness, in the centre of the Highland countryside. The nearest village is Muir of Ord, with Beauly and Contin also nearby.
There are many things to see and do locally and the beauty of the surrounding countryside is second to none. The Moray Firth is just a short drive away and there are boat trips for dolphin spotting.

Fairburn Lodge (and Activity Centre) is positioned 2 miles (3.2 km) from the village of Marybank, 6 miles (10 km) west of Muir of Ord and about 20 miles (32 km) north-west of Inverness.
By Car (from Inverness): - Follow the A9 north across the Kessock Bridge to the Tore roundabout. - Take the second exit on the A835, towards Ullapool. - Continue on the A835, by taking the second exit at the next roundabout. - After 3 miles (5 km), take a left turn, crossing the river on Moy Bridge. Drive uphill towards Marybank. - At the road junction in Marybank, continue uphill past the primary school on the left-hand side. - As you drive on up the hill, keep a look out for a small sign on the left-hand side of the road, directing you to turn right for Fairburn Activity Centre and Nursing Home. - Continue for 2 miles (3.2 km) on this straight, tree-lined road with passing places. Do not run off this road until you reach the entrance to Fairburn House, a very grand stone building. - Drive in and across the car park and keep going. - Fairburn Lodge is positioned approximately 150 metres further on, with its own front courtyard and car park at the rear. Follow the signs for Fairburn Activity Centre.
By Train: The nearest major intercity rail station is Inverness, where connections are available to the closest rail station in Muir of Ord.
By Air: Inverness Airport is positioned along the A96 road, about 10 miles (16 km) east of Inverness. The airport is well signposted from the A96. There is no rail link to the airport.
