- Exit at junction 9.
- Join the A11, signposted Newmarket, Norwich.
- Continue forward onto the A14.
- At junction 37, continue forward on A14.
- Leave at junction 41 onto Newmarket Road, signposted Saxham, Risby
- Turn left onto South Street.
- Bear left.
- Arrive Risby, Bury St Edmunds.
From Norwich:
- Turn right onto the A147.
- At the roundabout, take the A11 signposted Thetford.
- At the traffic lights, go left onto the A146.
- Continue onto the A140 signposted Ipswich.
- At the 4th roundabout, take the A143 signposted Bury St Edmunds.
- Merge onto the A14 signposted Newmarket.
- Leave at Junction 41.
- Then, as above.
